BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT THE MUSEUM

 

SET SAIL ON AN ADVENTURE!

Have your child’s next party aboard the Discovery Ship!

Spend one hour aboard the Amelia Island Museum of History’s newest interactive children’s exhibit, the Discovery Ship. Children will enjoy learning about navigation, knot tying, shipwrecks and more as they board the ship with a Museum Docent dressed in period costume. Aboard the Discovery Ship the children will hear stories about our local history and then have the opportunity to dress up and try their hand at sailing the ship. Each child will receive a small souvenir from their time aboard the ship!

Birthday party rental also includes use of the upstairs room, Baker Hall, and kitchen for one additional hour. Parents may decorate the room, bring food and have use of the large screen television. Tables and chairs are available for your use as well. Parents are responsible for all set-up and clean-up of Baker Hall. Arraignments to decorate before the party are limited to the Hall’s availability and must be made with the approval of a staff member.

Must be booked at least a month in advance.

Credit Card number must be on file and may be run at the discretion of Operations Coordinator upon post event inspection.

Equipment Use                                                                                                        $50.00

Only charged if any damage to the equipment occurs.

*Parties that exceed 2 hours are permissible with advance approval. Renters will be charged an additional $30 per hour. In accordance with City Noise Ordinances, all events must conclude by 10:00 PM, excluding clean-up.
