Local artist Shameera Din Wiest will present “The Shape of History” for our June Brown Bag Lunch lecture. She will discuss her sculptural work with found materials. She will share her motivations, process, and product of impact and conservation-driven art, which consists largely of reclaimed plastic.

This lecture will be held offsite at Peck Center Auditorium, as a traveling Smithsonian exhibit is on display in the Museum’s lecture hall.

Attendance is free and open to the public and attendants may bring their lunch. Seating is limited on a first come, first served basis. This program is wheelchair accessible.
