In this lecture, Gary will talk about his efforts over the past 30 years to find out the truth of what took place with the U-2 Incident that made his father a Cold War icon. He will discuss how his efforts led to the creation of the Cold War Museum and his father being posthumously awarded the POW Medal and the Silver Star in 2000 and 2012, respectively. Gary will also read a few short excerpts from his two books, Letters from a Soviet Prison and Spy Pilot.
