The Amelia Island Museum of History is offering a $1,000 academic scholarship. Any matriculating Nassau County Public High School senior who has demonstrated an interest in history is eligible to apply.
The total monetary award for each scholarship winner will go toward the financial cost of any fully accredited college/university or learning institution. Applicants must be in the top 25% of their class.
Financial need will be considered. Applicants must be industrious and show initiative. Selection is made without regard to sex, race, religion, or national origin.
Students who are interested in applying for the Amelia Island Museum of History Scholarship may obtain application forms and information from their guidance counselor or from the AIMH website at www.ameliamuseum.org/. Completed applications must be submitted by the student to their school guidance office.
Applicants who are identified by the AIMH Scholarship Committee as finalists will be notified and will be required to attend a brief interview conducted by the AIMH Scholarship Committee.
Following the interview process, the committee will select a scholarship winner(s).
