“John Muir’s Post Civil War Journey through the Wild-Wild South”

This presentation will trace John Muir’s journey through Savannah, Fernandina Beach, and into Cedar Key in 1867. The talk will be punctuated with Muir’s dialogues and musings from his book A Thousand Mile Walk to the Gulf. Muir is known as the Father of our National Parks.

Attendance is free and open to the public and attendants may bring their lunch. Seating is limited on a first come, first served basis. This program is wheelchair accessible.
